In my latest fan expansion for Warhammer: The Old World RPG (TOWR), you will find 28 new careers, all focused on the "salt of the earth": Humble, hard-working rural folk. To support them, there are 9 new assets, as well as various custom Lores and other special rules scattered throughout the document.
Humble Careers, as the document is called, is intended to be the first of a series of supplements that help gaming groups that want a more focused group of player characters than the wildly unlikely groups the Players Guide (PG) is likely to produce. For this purpose, it includes a tighter table of origins, and a random career table that includes a couple of PG careers in addition to those from this document. But Humble Careers can also be used as a simple list of extra careers in a game that also uses all those from the PG.
Check it out, and enjoy careers like the Charcoal-Burner, Friar, Muleskinner, Seer or Yarnspinner. Enhance your play with new living assets such as the Mule Team, Quick but Cunning Dog and Endlessly Sniffing Hound (no longer does the Rat Catcher have a monopoly on mans best friend). Those who prefer something that doesn't kick or bite might prefer a Herb Garden, Powder House or Chancery.
You can access the document on Homebrewery here: https://homebrewery.naturalcrit.com/share/jfp-YhmAy899 - make sure you familiarize yourself with the reader, it includes a table of contents (upper left corner), the ability to print as a PDF (the button labelled Get PDF), various layouts and other features.
If you want more full Fan Expansions for TOWR, such as my rules for Kislevite PCs check out the expansions tag here on this blog.
Feedback is always welcome! Let me know if you enjoyed this expansion, what you might like next, and any concerns you may have about game balance or other problems with these careers.
